Important Notes
Minors in Basketball are 1st Years. Minors in Hockey are 2nd Years
Juniors in Basketball are 2nd Years. Juniors in Hockey are all 3rd years and 4th years who are born in 2007
Hockey matches for all teams will be on a Saturday morning except for Senior A which will predominantly be on a Wednesday.
Basketball matches will be either on a Saturday or else on their training days
It is vital that your daughter checks Microsoft Teams & the school app daily for all information regarding training and matches
Hockey goalkeepers are responsible for picking up their kit on Friday after school for Saturday matches
Please ensure that you have downloaded the school App
If your daughter is committing to playing sport in HCK then her attendance is expected for all training and matches
Attendance will be monitored, and all non-attendance must be accompanied by a note/email from a parent /guardian

Gum shields are compulsory for both hockey and basketball training and matches
A proper fitting professionally moulded gum shield is the most important piece of sports equipment that you will purchase for your daughter
Also essential is the correct supportive footwear for hockey (astro runners) and basketball (basketball boots/supportive runners)
There will be a charge of 35 euro per term for Strength and Conditioning classes
