Nyumbani Immersion Programme
Holy Child School is currently organising it's African Immersion Project to the Nyumbani Children's Charity in Nairobi, Kenya for two weeks next February 2013 for 5th Year students.
At this time we are inviting all interested students to formally apply for selection. To facilitatethe planning of the trip it is essential that we receive completed application forms not later than Monday, 7th May, 2012.



HCK Sports Bags
As part of the TY 2011/12 mini company project we have designed and developed Holy Child
Sports Bags! These can be used by students to carry their kit to and from school. We will be taking orders from the 27th of February and would greatly appreciate your support with our project. The cost of the bags will be €25 or two for €40. Completed orders should be returned to Ms. Murphy

T/Y Tour to Beijing, China
Twenty one Transition Year students accompanied by two members of staff departed for Beijing on Tuesday, 12th April for a cultural tour. The students will attend Beijing Huiwen Middle School for Chinese study and practice followed by an afternoon packed with activities. They will visit the Forbidden City, the Great Wall of China and many other places of interest during their stay. Follow their progress through their online blog.
