Holy Child Killiney ranked no. 7  in Ireland

"Parent Power is the country's most accurate ranking of secondary schools' perfomrance as it is based on the percentage of students progressing to university, or university-level institutions, in Ireland and the UK."

" An holistic approach to education is also common in the top schools, with altruism and contribution to the community being encouraged. Extracurricular activities cater for interests far beyond academia, making the school important as a social centre as well as a place to study."
See table.

Well done to Gordan Watkins and the team who made us proud to be from the Holy Child School, Killiney yesterday.

The School Crest
Killiney derives its name from the Gaelic
Cill Iníon Léinín
the church of the Daughters of Léinín.
The ruins of the earliest church have long since disappeared but the remains of an 11th century church still stand and are the inspiration for the school crest.
The school motto is
"Actions not Words"
