Huge congratulations to Alex Purcell and Laura Noble (Class of 2020) who have been selected for the Uniphar U23 5 Nations Tournament in UCD this week. Alex made her U23 International debut on Sunday in a match against India following an incredibly impressive season, a deserved reward for her dedication and commitment to the sport over the last number of years. Alex's focus shifts back to her exams during the week, before she will play again on Saturday 25th June against USA in UCD at 11:00. Laura, who was the Senior Captain in 2019-20, has been a key part of the U23 squad for the last number of years and is playing against World Champions Holland on Wednesday, Ukraine on Thursday and the USA on Saturday. It is wonderful to see these role models making such strides at international level and we wish them all the best in the tournament. Meanwhile this weekend saw Millie Jerman and Aliya Davis continue their preparations with the Irish U16 girls, playing matches against Ulster U15 Boys and Ulster 18 Girls. It is also great to see many of our players continuing to progress through the stages with Leinster during June, and many more continuing to progress their game through camps and clinics.
