Yesterday evening, HCKSpeaks took part in a zoom workshop led by the University Philosophical Society of Trinity College. The Phil, as it is more commonly known, is Ireland’s largest and oldest debating society. Their school’s team aims to engage secondary school students in debating and introduce them to 3rd level education through workshops and competitions led by their volunteers.
Well done to all the girls who joined the call and took part in challenging discussions about the role of TikTok in young people’s lives, the right to bear arms, the music industry and fame. We hope you enjoyed it!
