House Day hosted by Hilary House
On Thursday, 16th April, we celebrated our final House Day of the year. This marks Cornelia Connelly's anniversary, and this House Day was hosted by Hilary House.
The day began with liturgy and prayer, which allowed us to reflect on Cornelia’s life, and the impact she has on our school community.
Following our prayers, the School Talent show opened with an energetic performance by the eight house heads, who set the tone for the day with a lively and well-coordinated dance. Their performance was followed by a variety of impressive acts, showcasing the diverse talents within the school. Several students took to the stage to sing, filling the room with confidence and emotion, while others demonstrated their musical skills on instruments like the piano and the harp, creating moments of calm and beauty. The show also featured several dance routines, each bringing its own style and energy. Just as the judges were deliberately the results, the 6th years put on performance for their final talent show in HCK with an amazing recreation of the Super Bowl acts. Altogether, the event was a celebration of creativity and talent, leaving the audience thoroughly entertained and inspired. Congratulations to 5th year Geraldine House for winning 2nd place and to a 3rd year Yueling Peng whose outstanding solo harp piece won her 1st place and brought 500 points to Geraldine House.
