HCK got off to a fantastic start in the 2026/27 Shanahan Cup Schools Team Racing series at the Irish National Sailing & Powerboat School in Dun Laoghaire on Wednesday 7 October.
The HCK team took to the water in RS Zests for some exciting team racing against schools from across Dublin.
Racing was cut short due to the strengthening wind, but HCK made the most of the races they sailed, winning all three of their races before racing was abandoned for the day.
A huge well done to Emily Donagh, Rebecca Murdock, Maeve Donagh, Lily Donagh, Pippa O’Connor and Rosa Sexton for a brilliant start to the series!
If any HCK students with sailing experience would like to get involved, please get in touch with Kate O’Flaherty. We’d be delighted to welcome you to the team!
