This year we commenced a new phase of fundraising to support our development in the Home Economics and Art faculties. Our mission is to provide a modern, state of the art and inspiring learning environment to all our students, no matter what their area of interest. We are giving our students the space and resources to thrive, our students are doing their bit by giving their best in sport, academia and the arts, our community are backing us both.
Since the inception of our development programme, Building Our Future, incredible generosity from our community of parents, grandparents and alumnae has delivered a brand-new Sports Hall, a new Hockey Pitch, three new STEM Classrooms, an improved design and layout of the teaching block, a lift to ensure disability access and a redesign of the canteen to ensure lunchtimes are more fun!
Our investment started in STEM and sport because traditionally these are areas where girls have needed further encouragement. We want our young scientists and our sports girls to be proud of their school and to be inspired to take part, join in, investigate. Now we are moving on to areas that girls already love; Home Economics and Art
We have in excess of 300 families and friends of Holy Child Killiney supporting us, underpinning the development of education here, supporting our current students and strengthening the position of the school. We are deeply grateful. Thank you.
