HCK girls were privileged to receive an inspirational talk from Past Pupil Megan Beare, Class of 2013.
Fifth and Sixth Year girls heard about Megan’s work with Concern Worldwide. Megan has recently returned from Kabul, Afghanistan, and prior to this she has worked in India, Liberia and Uganda. Megan has been involved in humanitarian aid, in designing and evaluating projects improving women’s and children’s health, and in lobbying and advocacy. The girls really engaged with Megan’s presentation, and were very motivated by her enthusiasm and courage.
