Good luck to the HCKSpeaks seniors who will take part in round one of the Leinster Schools Debating Competition on Tuesday.
Caroline Fahey, Georgina Dowling, Molly Callaghan and Eve McGann will debate the motion ‘This House Would Ban Targeted Advertising for Under 18 Social Media Users’.
They will compete in this debate over zoom against speakers from Loreto on the green, Blackrock College, Coláiste Ráithín, Wexford CBS, Sanford Park and Dundalk Grammar. Thank you to TCD’s College Historical Society and the UCD Literary and Historical Society for organising the competition.
