Hockey, Netball, Football, Athletics, 4th Year Musical, Peer Minister, Angel, Prefect
What sports have you represented HCK in and what position did you play?
Hockey; Defender Netball; Wing Attack Football; Mid Field Athletics; Hurdles
What do you believe are the keys to balancing academics and athletics?
Try to do sport or exercise for an hour or two before sitting down to study as this helps you concentrate better.
What advice would you give to younger HCK students regarding academics and sports?
Participate in as much sport as possible and do night study if your house is anywhere near as loud as mine!
What has been your greatest achievement academically?
Getting 600 points in the Leaving Cert
What is your most memorable moment in sports?
Playing our first real football match against cabinteely…and only losing by one goal!!
What is the highest level you have reached in sports?
Playing on the senior A hockey team in school
Describe the commitment required to sustain this level.
Attending every training session, keeping fit, and playing all the matches….rain or shine!!
What is your greatest honor which you are most proud of in your life?
Being voted Head girl
When you are tired what motivates you to keep going?
Listening to upbeat Music and Berocca Boost!

What sporting legend is your idol and why?
Zidane. He came from a poor Algerian family yet he never let that stop him succeeding his dream.
Who has inspired you the most in life and why?
My year as a whole. We had the best time together in 6th year and never seemed to get stressed out over study yet we managed to achieve amazing results in the Leaving Cert.
Did you achieve your goals at Holy Child Killiney, if so, what were they?
Yes; To make it through the 9 years without failing an exam or making any enemies!
If there was one thing you could change in this world what would it be?
I love travelling, but I despise Jet lag….so no time zones!!
